Integrated Awareness Activities to Combat Drug Abuse

As part of its ongoing efforts to combat drug abuse, the Raperin Youth Organization has been actively working for more than three years, implementing a wide range of awareness activities across different areas of the Raparin district.

These initiatives include lectures, seminars, and field outreach activities. Educational talks have been regularly delivered in mosques, particularly during important religious occasions, focusing on the dangers and consequences of drug abuse and the importance of protecting young people.

In parallel, public seminars have been organized in open community spaces such as parks, addressing the health, psychological, and legal impacts of narcotic substances, and strengthening community awareness.

Additionally, direct outreach activities have been conducted in social settings such as cafes and local bazaars, in cooperation with security forces, to highlight the negative effects of drug use on individuals and society.

These efforts have been carried out with strong youth participation and the support of various stakeholders. The organization reaffirms its commitment to continuing these impactful activities to safeguard the community and confront this growing challenge.
